The ADB announced a US$10.81 million program to improve Cambodia's financial management and support rural poverty reduction, the bank said. The plan would see $6.71 million go to financial management reforms in the ministries of Rural Development, Agriculture and Water Resources. The remaining $4.1 million would be spent on "institutional and capacity development", the ADB said in a statement. The ADB said the program is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of public spending in fighting rural poverty.
