Cambodian officials agreed with a delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Trade on December 10 to preferential policies aimed at facilitating trade between people and businesses in border areas, a Vietnamese news agency reported.
From December 15, Vietnam will permit Cambodians to carry goods worth up to $125 each day to sell at its border markets and border economic zones. Cambodia will also create a legal corridor for cross-border trade and import-export activities.
