THE International Trade Centre (ITC) introduced government officials to a range of analytical tools Monday at the start of a two-day workshop for government officials designed to improve import, export and foreign direct-investment processes. Joseph Wozniak, a programme manager at ITC, a joint agency of the World Trade Organisation and United Nations, said the tools would help officials analyse trade statistics, customs tariffs and foreign direct investment information. “This should help the government and private sector identify opportunities for investment by country and by sector,” he said.
