A Cambodian stock exchange could be up and running within three years. The Korea

Exchange (KRX), South Korea's stock market operator, has announced its plan to establish

a joint venture stock exchange with the Cambodian government. KRX will probably take

a 51 percent stake in the exchange and provide know-how on how to set it up. KRX

said it was close to signing a memorandum of understanding with Cambodia and could

begin setting up the exchange by the end of the year.
