THE price of corn has dropped by 20 percent in the last week as constant rains have made crop heavier than normal. Before last week, a tonne of corn was being sold at US$155. It had dropped to $124 per tonne yesterday as the average weight of the crop increased. Tong Savuth, manager of KOGID Cambodia Co Ltd, who buys corn destined for South Korea, said: “It is just seasonal.”
