THE quality of corporate governance will be crucial for firms listing on the exchange, according to experts. Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia Deputy Director General Huot Pum said improved corporate governance meant increased transparency, accountability, and increased financial incentives. “It gives greater access to capital and lower capital costs with faster corporate sector growth and job creation,” he said at a seminar organised by the SECC and IFC on Saturday.
