Some of Phnom Penh's coffee shop and eatery stalwarts say they are facing strong challenges from a rash of newer stores setting up. Srey Pick, owner of Herb Café in Chamkarmon district, said yesterday her shop’s sales had declined sharply in the previous six months with more intense competition. 'I am worried – my sales have declined by 50 percent,' she said, adding her shop targeted foreigners. King Kim Srean, owner of Phnom Penh’s Sentiment cafes, said his three branches had seen a 40-percent decline so far this year.
