GE to open Phnom Penh office

US multinational General Electric (GE) plans

to open a Phnom Penh office later this year. Health Minister Nuth Sokhom told

local media that GE executives, who visited Cambodia as part of a US-ASEAN

Business council delegation, were interested in the health sector and discussed

the possibility of bringing diagnostic machinery and materials to the Kingdom.

Bretton Sciaroni, president of the American Cambodian Business Council, told

local media that the GE executives also expressed an interest in power
