Golf course tees off

Grand Phnom Penh International City opened its US$25 million golf course Sunday, Sales Manager Teng Rithy said. The 18-hole course, designed by Nicklaus Design, covers 70 hectares at the centre of the 260-hectare satellite city currently being built. Construction of the course began in October 2008. The developer, Indonesia's Ciputra and YLP Group of Cambodia also put 40 new villas on the market Sunday, priced from $120,000 to $250,000. Four were sold that day, Teng Rithy said.
