C ambodia and Japan have signed an agreement to protect Japanese investors in Cambodia,

local media reported. The agreement was reached on Prime Minster Hun Sen's recent

visit to Tokyo and government officials said Japanese entrepreneurs would visit Cambodia

in July to seek investment opportunities. Japan is Cambodia's largest donor nation

and officials said continued Japanese aid would be used to construct roads and irrigation

as well as improve the electricity network, the Sihanoukville seaport, and other

infrastructural projects.
