Malindo Air, a Malaysian low-cost carrier, launched daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Phnom Penh on December 1.
The new route, which will have a seating capacity of nearly 200, is expected to strengthen the tourism sectors in both Cambodia and Malaysia.
According to a Facebook post on the Malindo Air page in late June, daily service between the two capital cities was originally scheduled to begin August 1.
