A FORMER Japanese ambassador to Cambodia, Shinohara Katsuhiro, has been appointed to the board of Maruhan Japan bank in Cambodia. Fujimaki Masoa has also been appointed to the board of the bank. Maruhan Japan was the 14th-largest of Cambodia’s 29 banks by total assets last year, according to National Bank of Cambodia figures.
