The managing director of Harta Packaging Industries Cambodia Ltd (HPICL) is predicting

a rise in demand for carton and plastic packaging in Cambodia.

Albert Chan Chor Ngiak of HPICL told trade publication StarBiz that Cambodia was

fast becoming a preferred destination among investors due to its lower cost of doing

business.

Chan said more garments and textile-related manufacturers, whose activities require

packaging, were venturing into Cambodia. HPICL started operations in October 2004.
