P akistani Commerce Secretary Syed Asif Shah proposed that Pakistan and Cambodia bolster bilateral trade, agriculture and tourism links, while leading a delegation to Phnom Penh earlier this month. Shah was reported to have encouraged Cambodia to open an embassy in Pakistan to encourage trade and tourism between the two countries. Last year Cambodia exported $500,000 worth of products including rubber to Pakistan and imported $12 million of metal and plastic products from Pakistan.
