Taking the tour

The Council of Ministers has adopted a subdecree aimed at improving tour-guide training and management. The goal is to ensure professionalism and a code of ethics among tour guides, a statement said. Minister of Tourism Thong Khon said the move would futher develop and organise the sector. Cambodian Association of Travel Agents President Ang Kim Eang also praised the subdecree, adding the industry required tour guides that speak languages such as Russian, Vietnamese, Korean and Italian.
