Thai government officials have urged Thai investors to take advantage of a strong

baht and invest in Cambodia's construction and manufacturing industries. Thailand's

Foreign Trade Department Director-General, Apiradee Tantraporn, said the construction

and manufacturing industries in Cambodia are promising and investment would open

the Cambodian market to Thai products and boost their recognition over those of rivals

such as China and Vietnam, local media reported.
