South Korea and Vietnam have agreed to a joint committee to facilitate the building

of nuclear reactors in Vietnam, South Korean media reported. The two countries also

agreed on a plan for South Korea to provide nuclear policy training for Vietnamese

experts this year, and to carry out joint research to assist with the Vietnamese

construction of parts for facilities. In addition to the nuclear cooperation agreement,

the two countries agreed to cooperate in projects to build the new city of South

Ankhan and Lach Huyen Port.
