Vietnam paint factory opens in Svay Rieng

Vietnam-based Kova Paint Group opened its first paint factory in Cambodia on February 16. Located in the border province of Svay Rieng, the facility employs about 100 people, two-thirds Cambodians, and can produce 60 tonnes of paint daily, according to the Viet Nam News. The Vietnamese firm put up $3 million, or 70 percent, of the factory’s start-up capital. Singapore companies supplied the rest.
