Cattle rustlers caught (blood) red-handed

Cattle rustlers caught (blood) red-handed

Three notorious cattle rustlers were arrested Tuesday morning in Battambang’s Banan district. Police said the three men had been stealing cows throughout the district for months.

When villagers reported two more stolen on Monday night, police were able to follow a trail of hoofprints straight back to the men, who were in the middle of slaughtering the cows for beef.

Caught red-handed, the men were arrested and their cleavers confiscated. The bovine remains were taken back to the police station for safekeeping. KOH SANTEPHEAP
