Comedown comes early for drug den denizens

Used to living the high life, a crowd of alleged drug dealers and their customers hit a low point after police crashed their party in Kandal province’s Ponhea Leu district yesterday.

They’d found a quiet spot on their block and settled in for some narcotic-fuelled escapism when the cops barged through the door. Eleven were arrested but police found only three to be dealing. Most of the evidence was flushed, but police managed to salvage enough for a case against the suspects. Deum Ampil
