Drug runners swallow bitter pill of justice

Poipet did little to change its Wild West image with the arrest of four men near the border crossing on Tuesday.

Police, acting on a tip from a local vendor, confronted the quartet as they attempted to enter Thailand.

The four said they were migrant workers on their way to jobs, but a quick pat down revealed some 165 pills on their person. Police have forwarded them to court for charges. DEUM AMPIL
