Ex-con taken in after taking axe to neighbour

They say the grass is always greener, but if your neighbour is an ex-con, you’re probably better off just living with your own yard’s brownish shade.

Failing to heed that advice was a 28-year-old Poipet man, who on Monday decided to take his cow next door to feast on the grass behind his neighbour’s house.

Police said the suspect, who had only recently been released from jail, took umbrage, before taking an axe, and then taking liberties with the victim’s person. Back in the can, the man can no longer defend his yard. KOH SANTEPHEAP
