Fake gun fails to hinder Poipet motorbike theft

Thieves in Poipet town didn’t let a fake gun stop them from laying down a real beating on Tuesday. According to police, the two suspects threatened a married couple on a motorbike, brandishing a gun and telling them to pull over.

Upon stopping, however, the husband noticed that the gun was fake and refused to cooperate. Undeterred, the suspects badly beat the couple and made off with the bike anyway. Nearby police gave chase, but were only able to apprehend one. DEUM AMPIL
