Fake tech guy geeks out with stolen laptop

Impersonating a computer repairman didn’t go so well for one 21-year-old in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district on Saturday.

Police say a woman brought her laptop to a shop at a local market, but at the time of her arrival, the owner was indisposed.

The suspect appeared in his place, allegedly pretending to have the know-how and to be employed by the shop.

He took the computer, but when the ruse was discovered, police took after him and he was sent to court. KOH SANTEPHEAP
