China Duty Free Group (Cambodia) Co, Ltd cooperated with the Khmer Artist for Children Organization to hold a sale for charity at its Phnom Penh Duty Free Store. The organisation takes care of 60 children who are either orphans or whose families do not have the ability to support them. The children receive food from the organisation and also spend time studying or making crafts or artwork. The director of the organisation, an artist, uses his income from selling art to fund the organisation, including buying painting materials and hiring teachers. After hearing about the work the group does, CDFG decided to hold the charity event to help make sure the oranisation can continue its work. The CDFG will also put a donation box in each of its three downtown stores. The duty-free shop will then be able to carry on contributing to the organisation. Photos supplied
