On April 27 in Phnom Penh, the CAIF (Cambodian Auto Importers Federation) held its Annual General Meeting and elected a new Board of Directors to lead the federation for the next two years. Those elected include: Mr James Zemke, Mr Ngorn Saing, Mr Itoh Hiroyuki, Mr Michael Vetter, and Mr Peter Brongers. The objective of CAIF is to promote the development of the automotive industry in Cambodia in a manner that is fair, transparent, and balances the needs of authorised importers, distributors, and dealers, consumers, and regulators. The Federation’s membership includes companies representing the following brands: Audi, BMW, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Suzuki, Toyota and Volkswagen.
