On June 6, the Embassy of Sweden celebrated Swedish National Day at Raffles Hotel Le Royal’s Ballroom. The event was presided over by guest of honour, HE Ouch Borith, secretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and was hosted by Swedish Ambassador Maria Sargren. Around 350 distinguished guests attended, including government officials, members of diplomatic missions and the private sector, development partners and friends to Sweden. The event was also an occasion to showcase Sweden’s activities in Cambodia over the past year, mostly involving the environment, climate change and oceans.
