High school rumble puts one student in hospital

A high school brawl left one student badly injured in Kampong Chhnang town on Wednesday. Police said a gang of five students went to Soramarith High School to slap around a couple students with whom they’d had an argument.

Keen to retaliate, the Soramarith students called up a posse and confronted their rivals in the street, where a knock-down, drag-out brawl ensued. When the dust settled, one the participants was hospitalised with a serious head injury, while the others fled before police arrived. NOKORWAT
