New road rules delayed in Siem Reap

Siem Reap provincial officials said Monday that the enforcement of an order by provincial Governor Sou Phirin to keep overloaded vehicles off of newly paved roads has been pushed back because they are too busy. “We will hold a meeting this week in order to outline the direction and implement the order with police,” Sok Sunlin, director of Siem Reap’s Public Works and Transportation Department, said Monday.
