Cambodian human trafficking survivors from the Somaly Mam Foundation will aid the UN Inter-Agency Project on Human Trafficking by training police and government officials on laws and issues related to trafficking of sex workers in Cambodia, the foundation said in a statement Monday. Training programmes will be implemented in Pailin, Battambang, Kampong Cham and Takeo provinces. The effort is designed to raise awareness of factors that fuel human trafficking as well as the needs of victims.
