Teenage lovers
- Wednesday, 19 October 2011
Are you in a love relat-ionship? If you are, how much do you and your partner believe in each other? Openness, honesty and an understanding of each other are essential for happiness.
Today, most teenagers choose their partners by themselves. They often start out in a friendly relationship, then they become sweethearts, and finally, if they understand each other, they may decide to get married.
In contrast, some couples break up before they get to the marriage stage.
During their relationship, as they are learning about each other and trying to understand each other, a couple will go to resorts, enjoy meals together, go to the cinemas and go to sing karaoke.
In the Kingdom of Cambodia, especially in the city, there are a lot of karaoke places, both big and small.
When couples go to kara-oke venues, some of them make love inside the room, which is an offence to the Khmer culture and may affect the future of those girls (3-4).
Furthermore, when couples don’t tell each other the truth, betray their partner by becoming involved with a third person, or become jealous, the third person, or the person who was betrayed, always becomes angry and often comes out fighting or does something bad (6-7).
On a more cheerful note, Lift has discovered a great gift and souvenir shop for teens who want to buy that special gift for their lover or for friends. That shop also stocks a special kind of candy (11).
Lift has other interesting articles inside. If you have further comments or sugg-estions, please send them to us via lift@phnompenhpost.com. Thanks!
