The press conference scheduled for the conclusion of a UN delegation's visit to Cambodia has been called off. It was supposed to be held tomorrow evening, after talks on Dec. 9 and 10.
A high-level Secretariat delegation was scheduled to meet with Deputy Prime Minister Sok An. No doubt one issue on the agenda for discussion would be the unresolved corruption allegations leveled at the Khmer Rouge Tribunal.
I'm not sure yet what the cancellation of this press conference signifies. A release from the court claims a statement about the talks will be available at a later date.è½
