The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Cambodia Country Office is seeking to hire a qualified international consultant (Individuals only) to monitor the distribution of materials for the Measles Rubella Immunization Campaign.

. Provide technical support to the NIP- Logistics Officer in support of the effective distribution of the printed IEC materials;
. Provide technical support to the NIP-IEC/Communications Officer to assure that health volunteers and school teachers properly use the IEC materials to mobilise the target populations before the actual day of MR-SIA, especially in the high risk areas;
. Participate in Rapid Coverage Assessments during and right after the MR-SIA, with a focus in selected high risk areas;
. Monitor and report on progress on distribution and use of IEC materials during the campaign, including constraints and lessons learned.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
. First degree in a relevant field, such as public health or communications field;
. Minimum of 5 years’ experience and knowledge in the public health sector;
. Experience in organizing immunization campaigns, especially in communication and logistics;
. Good understanding of Cambodian health system and context;
. Excellent communication, coordination and facilitation skills;
. Fluency in English is required; some fluency in Khmer would be an asset;
. Proven ability to work effectively with government and multi-stakeholders;
. Good analytical and concise report writing skills;
. Be resident in Cambodia.
Duration of Assignment:
35 working days to be completed between October and December 2013.
