This role is an exciting opportunity for a senior management professional who wants to help shape the future success of a major international NGO working in more than 40 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice by helping people use their own power. The role provides vision, leadership, management and effective high-level national representation for ActionAid International in Cambodia. As the top leadership in the country, the Country Director (CD) role leads the development and oversees the implementation of a new Country Strategy for ActionAid for the period of 2018-2022. You will focus on delivering high standards of ActionAid’s operations and ensuring resources are in place to achieve budgeted performance targets. The role requires broad organizational experience to develop and manage a growing team well as deep knowledge of Cambodia social, political and economic context to make significant improvements to policies and processes that lead long-term success of ActionAid in Cambodia.
With post graduate degree in development study, political science and/or organisational management, you must have significant experience working at the top management position in development work. Your backgrounds must include proven track records in fundraising and managing complex financial control and management system from diversified resources with the budget size of at least 3 million GBP. A strategic thinker, you will need to have ability to manage a large diversified team and built high performance cultures, and have proven change management experience.
