Cambodian Living Arts is recruiting for a Country Manager


Cambodian Living Arts’ mission is to be a catalyst in a vibrant arts sector, inspiring new generations.


Today CLA provides programs, resources and services to support the development of the arts sector in Cambodia. We run four main programs: Arts Development, Culture & Arts Education, Knowledge, Networks & Policy, and CLA Enterprise. The work ranges from commissioning and producing artistic projects, to training and funding for artists, and work in schools.


As CLA continues to grow its work regionally and internationally, we want to strengthen our Cambodia team with a Country Manager.The Country Manager is responsible for oversight of the whole CLA operation in Cambodia, with a particular focus on programs and operations.  The Country Manager will be working with a dynamic and independent management team, and plays an important role to link different departments, ensure synergies and keep focused on strategy. We are looking for a leader who is able to facilitate and enable others.


The position is based in Phnom Penh, and will require in country and regional travel.


Core responsibilities:

♦ Oversee implementation of the current 5-year strategic plan

♦ Nurture synergy and connections between teams

♦ Maintain and develop arts community partnerships

♦ Oversee institutional communications and marketing

♦ Support and contribute to fundraising

♦ Monitor the overall financial health of the organization, including overseeing the annual budgeting process

♦ Create an enabling environment for personal and professional growth of all CLA staff
