In Cambodia, obtaining development-related information at village level is difficult and time-consuming. Additionally, there is room for more information sharing and coordination amongst development actors. Devatar is an information system that aims to address these issues and will be available on mobile-phones, tablet and personal computers.
The Devatar Sales and Marketing Officeris under the direct supervision of Devartar Project Manager (PM) and will work closely with other Devatar Team Members. S/he is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising and/or other means of generating interest from potential clients; and to maintain good relations with the existing clients.
We are seeking a dynamic individual with a Degree in Marketing,Business or Journalism with 3-5 years sales-related leading position and experiences in ICT-related products with a re-known private entity.
Other Required Qualification of Sales and Marketing Officer include: i. Proven records of experiences in applying persuasion, closing skills, motivation for sales, prospecting skills, sales planning, Identification of customer needs and challenges, market Knowledge, meeting sales goals.’ ii. Good communication and presentation skills (English and Khmer). iii. Knowledge and experiences with NGOs, chamber of commerce, bilateral or multilateral agencies would be an advantage. iv. English proficiency.
