ISF OVERVIEW
ISF provides education, healthcare and sporting oppor-tunities to disadvantaged children in Cambodia. In addition ISF provides support services to the families of the children in our education programme to enable them to break the cycle of poverty they are currently trapped in.
Job Purpose
In close collaboration with ISF’s Country Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing fundraising, communications and reporting across all stakeholders, which include trusts, corporate donors, major donors, schools and individuals. You will maintain and develop positive relationships with current donors, engage new donors and explore new income streams to ensure the ISF funding needs.
Duties and Key Responsibilities The Development Manager will have the responsibility for:
♦ In partnership with the Executive Committee, Development Team and other Senior Management, develop a strategic plan for fundraising, development and public relations in line with the ISF overall Strategy. The plan will include objectives, activity plans and timelines with clear delegated authorities ♦ Oversee the day to day implementation of the fundraising plan ♦ Work closely and collaboratively with the Executive Committee and Senior Management Team to ensure the budget is funded, correctly applied and appropriate donor reports are produced in a timely manner ♦ Manage high standard grant applications ensuring reporting is tracked and donor expectations are met ♦ Monitoring the receipt of donor commitments and ensuring that all committed funds are received on time ♦ Manage all aspects of fundraising including donor targeting, donor management, donor proposals/reporting and public relations strategies. Appropriate systems, resources, records and reports will need to be further developed to support these initiatives
♦ Coordinate fundraising visits, events and campaigns in collaboration with local and international staff
Skills and Competence
♦ Have a Bachelor degree or higher qualification in business, marketing, communications, development, or other related fields ♦ Extensive experience in development work with significant experience in fundraising ♦ Be self-motivated, outgoing, friendly and persuasive. This person should be comfortable meeting new people and be able to impress and motivate ISF’s current and potential partners ♦ Have experience in managing people, funds, grants and budgets
