POSITION/TITLE:  IT Infrastructure Manager
REPORTS TO: Head of IT
SUPERVISE: IT Infrastructure Officers
LOCATION: Phnom Penh, Cambodia

 

POSITION SUMMARY:
IT Infrastructure manager is responsible to plan, organize, and manage infrastructure staff and/or consultants to ensure the stable and secure operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems. The IT Infrastructure Manager will also manage end-user and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
♦ Administer and monitor entire IT ecosystem (infrastructure, security, network, database, software) to ensure that all operations services are running without faults;
♦ Manage the delivery of IT Services that meet agreed service;
♦ To act as IT’s primary point of contact at all sites and to manage any related incidents and/or escalation of service issues;
♦ Ensure that documentation of our IT ecosystem is maintained and created where needed
♦ Identify, propose and address areas of improvement in the IT systems and infrastructure;
♦ Manage operational relationships with key 3rd Party suppliers;
♦ To create and regularly review all IT Service Delivery processes in line with industry best practice;
♦ Plan and schedule operational activities, shift patterns and the day to day task management of the team function across the company;
♦ Manage team’s workload, schedules and priorities;
♦ Participate in the design, testing and implementation of hardware/software capacity monitoring;
♦ Undertake other duties as may be required from time to time.

 

Other Duties
♦ Assist CBC management with other tasks as required;
♦ Take initiative in doing other task appropriately; and
♦ Other duties as assign by supervisor or line manager.  

 

REQUIRED SKILL AND EXPERIENCES:
♦ Experience in managing IT systems is a must, background and experiences acquired in telco or data center environment is highly appreciated
♦ Experience of acting as technical lead in projects
♦ Experience in AD, Exchange, VMware DB2 and AS/400
♦ Bachelor qualification in IT or/and in other appropriate discipline;
♦ Experience in maintaining and enforcing IT security processes;
♦ Developing technical proposals;
♦ Root cause analysis within complex infrastructure environment;
♦ Technical sound in Window 7/8, Office 2010 and Exchange;
♦ Strong technical aptitude, especially relating to PC/Server/Network hardware;
♦ Proficient with enterprise troubleshooting/monitoring tools and network operation concepts;
♦ Ability to think analytically;    
♦ Excellent technical communications skill and documentation;
♦ Strong oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact effectively and collaboratively both internally and externally;
♦ Demonstrates the ability to take the initiative and pay close attention to detail;
♦ Honesty, reliability, and a commitment to strict confidentiality; and
♦ Is self-motivated and committed to self-improvement.
