We wish to invite applications for the following position:
1- Physical Education Teacher Assistants
Duties:
♦ Assist the physical education teacher in performing specific duties as assigned
♦ Set up equipment for class
♦ Assist in the maintenance and storage of equipment
Position requires:
♦ Minimum of a High School Diploma – advanced education in physical education desirable
♦ Must have prior experience working with children
♦ Fluency in written and spoken English
♦ Ability to assist the teacher with student care and management
♦ Knowledge and experience with a range of sports
2- Elementary School Teacher Assistant
Duties:
♦ To support the teacher in providing an effective learning environment
♦ To assist the teacher with student care and management
♦ To perform routine maintenance of classroom materials and equipment
Position requires:
♦ Minimum of a High School Diploma – advanced education desirable
♦ Must have prior experience working with children
♦ Fluency in written and spoken English
♦ Ability to assist the teacher with student care and management
3- School Nursing Assistant
Position requires:
♦ Degree or Certificate in Nursing
♦ Minimum two (2) years experience in nursing or public health care, preferably in an international English-speaking environment
♦ Fluency in spoken English
♦ Positive and pro-active attitude
Duties include:
♦ Providing basic first aid care for injured and ill students
♦ Administering medication and treatments under the direction of the School Nurse
♦ Taking inventory of and assisting with purchasing medical supplies
♦ Assisting the School Nurse in all duties as required
