Transparency International is the global civil society organization leading the fight against corruption. Transparency International Cambodia (TI Cambodia) is an official National Contact of Transparency International. The mission of TI Cambodia is to work together with individuals and institutions at all levels to promote integrity and reduce corruption in Cambodia. TI Cambodia is currently looking for exceptional candidates to fulfil the positions as detailed below:
1. Research and Advocacy Program Assistant Position Summary: Provide administrative, logistic and research supports to the implementation of a program in-line with Goal 1 of the organization to achieve program goals and strategic objectives as stated in the Program Proposal. Goal 1: To diagnose corruption issues and use findings as a reference to stimulate more informed debates and formulate further anti-corruption projects.
Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills • Bachelor degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Public Affairs, International Relations or another subject relevant to the work of TI Cambodia; • At least 2 years of experience in providing administrative and logistical supports, preferably in the field of governance, advocacy and anti-corruption including some experience in conducting studies and research; • Possess good knowledge and understanding of the logistic and administrative supports, procurements, translation and interpretation; • Very good communications and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with people from diverse backgrounds; • Sound knowledge of and commitment to the promotion of integrity, good governance and anti-corruption; • Be passionate and committed to achieve TI Cambodia’s mission and goals and a commitment to TI Cambodia’s core values; • Ability to work independently, under pressure and with high level of commitment to ensure all outputs are achieved on time and to a high standard; • Fluent in English and Khmer with a proven ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
2. Research and Advocacy Program Intern Position Summary: To assist with the implementation of program in-line with Goal 1 of the organization to achieve program goals and strategic objectives as stated in the Program Proposal. Goal 1: To diagnose corruption issues and use findings as a reference to stimulate more informed debates and formulate further anti-corruption projects.
Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills • Fresh graduate or student studying for a Bachelor degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Public Affairs, International Relations, Media and Communication or another subject relevant to the work of TI Cambodia; • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with people from diverse backgrounds; • Previous experience in research / with an international non-governmental organization desirable; • General computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet search; • Commitment to the promotion of integrity, good governance and anti-corruption; • Be passionate and committed to achieve TI Cambodia’s mission and goals and a commitment to TI Cambodia’s core values; • Ability to work independently, under pressure and with high level of commitment to ensure all outputs are achieved on time and to a high standard; • Highly proficient in English and Khmer.
