Phnom Penh — Chip Mong Group will create hundreds of job opportunities for Cambodians as the company undertakes a new investment in animal feed production and swine farm, Chip Mong Feed Co., Ltd., according to its press conference on March 13th, 2017.
Oknha Leang Khun, Chairman of Chip Mong Group Co., Ltd., stated during the press conference “I would like to invite all Cambodian job seekers who are capable and have experiences in animal feed production and swine farming industry to apply for various jobs open at Chip Mong Feed.”
Chip Mong Group’s new investment will significantly contribute to Cambodia’s economy by generating both direct and indirect job opportunities for thousands of Cambodians, reducing imports, increasing local products, and changing the image of the country.
“Chip Mong Feed’s USD 60 million investment will go into the latest and state-of-the-art technology and machinery from European Union countries. We will also use the best ingredients for animal feed that we can find in Cambodia and the region. The factory will produce 200,000 tons of swine feed per year while the farm will generate about 300,000 swine per year”, said Oknha Leang Khun.
Chip Mong Group has decades of experiences in successfully operating and managing heavy industrial factories such as ready-mixed concrete factory, roof tiles factory, cement factory and beverages factory.
Tensions seemed to subside as quickly as they escalated at the Laos-Cambodia border.
