The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) is recruiting 20 young motivated graduates and researchers (10 with experience, 10 without experience) with keen interest in economic analysis and development to work as National Economists with a young dynamic team of policy researchers in the General Department of Economic and Public Finance Policy.

MEF offers competitive salary relative to private sector. Other perks and benefits include, but not limited to, in-house trainings with leading experts from international organizations, and opportunities to join trainings in developed countries such as Singapore, South Korea, Japan and the United States. Successful candidates will also be offered contract-based employment and a prospect of becoming government officials at the end of their one-year-contract based on their performance and achievement.

10 positions are open for candidates who have 3-5 years work experience in economic research, social affairs, statistics, finance, banking, and public policy. The other 10 positions are open for candidates who have no prior work experience, but possess working knowledge in economic analysis, statistics, finance, public policy, public finance or public administration, and international relation.

All candidates should be under the age of 35, must hold at least a bachelor degree in relevant fields, and must have good written and spoken English skills (at least TOEFL score of 530 or 5.0 Band in IELTS, taken less than 2 years ago), as well as computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Shortlisted applicants will be required to take a written test to prove their analytical and English skills before entering the interview stage.
