Job Title: Operational Risk Manager

Report to: Head of Risk and Compliance Department

Location: Head Office

Closing Date: February 6, 2015


Job Responsibilities:

► Working with business unit and other stakeholders to create a culture of strong operational risk management.

► Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the RCSA, Operational Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite that supports its business and risk governance strategies and regulatory requirements.

► Proactively identifying, tracking and analyzing operational risks.

► Conducting root cause analysis of operational losses over risk appetite, identifying control gaps and coordinating appropriate remedial actions, and analyzing and responding to audit and regulatory examination findings.

► Monitor risk exposures and evaluate adequacy of risk mitigation efforts.

► Resolve issues relating to company risk management policies.

► Developing, maintaining and coordinating key Operational Risk reports for committee and AMK's management.

► Collaborate with business unit and management to ensure visibility to and understanding of related risk processes and reporting. Develop strong relationships with key department heads to ensure vendor management is understood and managed appropriately.

► Provide reporting at a high level suitable for presentation to executive management reflective of activities performed by the function.

► Provide operational risk expertise and guidance to various departments, groups, and teams including but not limit to BCP.


Qualification and Experiences:

► Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Law.

► Must have 3 years of work experience in bank or financial institution in area of business operation including credit, and deposit etc... Experience in Risk management is an advantage

► Understanding of financial services regulatory requirements and current regulatory developments

► Ability to request and/or collect relevant information, identify potential exposures/gaps, summarize conclusions, construct recommendations

► Good knowledge to perform relevant trend analysis, create metrics and dashboards

► Excellent written and oral communication, planning, problem solving and organizing skills.

► Highly motivated and committed.
