Job Announcement for Secretary General

Cambodia ACTs is a coalition of 15 NGOs, working to fight against child trafficking in 10 provinces and municipals. It was set up in 2001 and is an active member of the Asia Against Child trafficking (ASIA ACTs) in Southeast Asia. Its objectives are to raise awareness on trafficking issues at the grassroots level, to build capacity, education, to provide direct assistance to high‐at‐risk and victim children of trafficking, and to strengthen law enforcement. Its main beneficiaries are high‐at‐risk children of trafficking and child victims of trafficking. Cambodia ACTs is seeking for a full-time Secretary General, to be based in Phnom Penh with travel to provinces.
1. Responsibilities and Scope of Work: The Secretary General is responsible for leading and coordinating Cambodia ACTs. Specific tasks include, but not limited to: ♦ Manage day-to-day operations of Cambodia ACTs ♦ Proposal writing, fundraising and resources mobilization for Cambodia ACTs ♦ Manage the projects of Cambodia ACTs with the NGO partners ♦ Collect and collate reports from the partners and provide updated information on project progress to the Executive Committees, stakeholders and donors ♦ Make liaison with Cambodian government, relevant authorities and other NGOs to ensure overall success of the projects ♦ Provide coordination and collaboration with NGOs partners ♦ Facilitate and arrange for partnership meetings with the implementing partners ♦ Undertake regular monitoring visits to projects, recommend appropriate adjustments and report to the board of director
Requirements ♦ Master degree in Management or Laws, or other related fields ♦ At least five-year experiences in developing proposals and writing project reports ♦ At least five-year experiences in managing projects and leadership role ♦ Knowledge and experience in project monitoring and evaluation ♦ Knowledge on child rights, UNCRC, anti-child trafficking ♦ English and Khmer proficiency are strongly required
