Job Title : WASH Coordinator

Report to : Head of Credit

Location : Head Office

Closing Date : June 13, 2016


Job Responsibilities

♦ Coordinate with internal MFI departments such as finance, operations, MIS, marketing, senior management, branch offices, and other groups to ensure successful implementation of Water Credit program activities and development of WASH loan program

♦ Coordinate with Water.org, including regular reporting and on-going communications

♦ Ensure the WASH loan program activities are executed in a quality and timely manner

♦ Manage the grant fund based on the activities budget and control the use of grant to avoid overspending.

♦ Report to the MFI leadership about WASH program activities regularly.

♦ Mitigate internal risk by immediately notifying the MFI leadership, WASH experts and other team members in the event of challenges.

♦ Manage WASH Experts to ensure support for the WASH suppliers and construction partners

♦ Provide feedback to internal staff based on field visits and monitoring, including borrowers, credit officer, area manager, sub-branch manager and branch managers

♦ Coordinate WASH Experts with supplemental trainings as needed

♦ Coordinate the development of WASH loan marketing strategy, plan, and materials

♦ Support the development of hygiene promotion in collaboration with WASH Experts and others

♦ Support for attracting new capital sources for WASH loans

♦ Coordinate with internal Funding for WASH loans capital

♦ Coordinate with other WASH stakeholders

♦ Ensure adequate training for credit officer, area manager, sub-branch manager and branch managers on new WASH loan product

♦ Liaise with other MFIs offering WASH loans in Cambodia or oversea

♦ Support MIS upgrades as related to WASH loan

♦ Manage upload of monthly loan data to the Water.org portal website

♦ Oversee the development and submission of monthly and quarterly reports to Water.org

♦ Coordinate and attend field visits for Water.org or other interested parties

♦ Other tasks as requested to support the WASH loan program


Qualification and Experiences:

♦ Academic background at least bachelor degree

♦ Has working experiences in MFI operations

♦ Has management and leadership skills and motivation to help the poor

♦ Has experience in engineering, construction, WASH or at a minimum a desire to learn in the area of WASH

♦ Has ability to deal with relevant stake holder and cross function

♦ Has the ability to work in team or alone, able to achieve targets

♦ Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and English

♦ Capable of using Microsoft Office

♦ Honest, responsible, creative, innovative, initiative, and professional
