Kampot cops go chasing waterfalls, bag thieves

Three thieves notorious for working a popular park in Kampot province led police on a 20-minute chase on Wednesday before their arrest.

Police said the three young men had been snatching bags at the Teuk Chhou waterfall resort area, mostly from foreign tourists.

In custody, the trio confessed, saying they had taken cash, mobile phones and sundry other goods over the course of more than 10 robberies. RASMEI KAMPUCHEA
