Joel Montague will present the best examples from his 1,500 postcards, tourist posters and other pieces of ephemera from the French colonial era of Cambodia at 7pm at MetaHouse this Sunday. The lecture entitled "Ephemeral Indochina: popular impressions of colonial Cambodia as seen through early picture postcards, trade cards posters and other common items" will provide visual documentation of the 90 years of French rule as well as give insight into the colonial mentality.
