Magic cube

Studies have shown that engaging in mental exercise through games and puzzles can help keep our minds sharp even into old age.  The Magic Cube is one such mental workout, a kind of mechanical jigsaw puzzle.  I tried to solve it, and it took me several months to complete.  I think everybody should use their brain to try to find the solution, especially elderly people at risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Take care of your mental health and meet the challenge of the magic cube.

The Killing Fields (documentary film)

The Killing Fields  is, far and away, my favourite movie.  Journalists Dith Pran and  Sydney Schanberg found themselves caught up in a civil war being fought between the national army and the Khmer Rouge, as the Vietnam war spilled over the border into Cambodia. My mother told me the scenes in the film were extremely true to life.  Cambodian young people can learn about our history by watching it.
