Christmas is an exciting time, and people all around the world get together to share some holiday cheer. People are spending the Christmas holiday to share love, food and of course – presents.

Christmas decorations are one of the most important parts of the holiday atmosphere. Christmas trees, mistletoes, lights, candles and snowmen will put you in a festive spirit. It’s a little difficult to find the right decorations for the holiday season, but this week LIFT has a solution for you!

Check out New Fashion’s Christmas decoration shop at #40 St Beoung Raing, Khan Daun Penh (between New Fashion and ACE School). It’s a fun and cool place to get into the Christmas spirit, so bring a friend and have some fun.

My friend and I were driving around when we noticed the shop. Immediately we had that fun feeling that Christmas was just around the corner. The store was creative and fun, with a giant inflatable Santa doll, standing 10 metres high waving everyone in. You can’t miss it, and you wouldn’t want to.

There were so many cool Christmas decorations all over the shop: it was amazing. My friend and I walked in and saw different kinds of Christmas balloon dolls, some typical ones of Santa and then some much more fun ones. There was this really fun one with Santa popping in and out of a present, a perfect little way to welcome guests in your home. But Christmas isn’t just about Santa. There were also Christmas trees, snowmen, lights, banners and of course wrapping paper to wrap all those presents you are going to give.

The giant Santa Claus standing outside of the store was a real eye-catcher, almost everyone who drove by would slow down to look at it. Some of them would even stop and come in. According to the owner of the shop, it costs over $700! The store was busy, and the atmosphere was great. Everyone in the store was excited for Christmas.

Miss Naren, a store-employee, told me that “when the Christmas season approaches, a lot of people come to buy decorative items for their home and office”.

“For the price, we have items ranging from twenty-five cents to $180,” she said.
