Man back in stir after police foil a break-in

Police in Kandal province’s Ponhea Leu district arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of stealing a villager’s property on Wednesday.

After being released from prison, where he was serving time for a drug-dealing charge, the man had no job and resorted to theft, police said.

According to authorities, the suspect was caught by patrolling police as he tried to break into a house. He tried to escape, but was chased down. RASMEI KAMPUCHEA
